I was born in Liverpool 75years ago & moved to Ilkeston when I was two. My wife Rosemary & I have been married for 52 years & have lived at West Hallam for the last 38 years
I was educated at Gladstone Infants, Chaucer Junior, Bennerley, Hallcroft & Derby College.
I retired 22 years ago having been a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Rolls-Rolls for 36 years.
I have been a keen photographer for many years but was inspired by the Coal-tit & peanut in 2012
I love the challenge of wildlife photography, especially birds in flight. I take many of my photos in & around Shipley Park & Straws Bridge.
We are both members of  Ogston Bird Club.
